Luke Daniels formed The Cobhers (pronounced Covers) in 2019 as a means of attracting new audiences to folk and traditional music via his arrangements of popular hits by acts such as The Beegees, Deelite and Stevie Wonder. Public engagement through familiar tunes that people can also dance to has also proved to be an effective way of showcasing the band’s own music.
